The Judges (Cartoon 45)

Gideon said to God, "If you will save Israel by my hand as you have promised - look, I will place a wool fleece on the threshing floor. If there is dew only on the fleece and all the ground is dry, then I will know that you will save Israel by my hand, as you said." And that is what happened. Gideon rose early the next day; he squeezed the fleece and wrung out the dew - a bowlful of water. Judges 6:36-38

If you were a lawyer you might be offended. You might say something like, "It's not fair to group all lawyers in the same category." You would be right, but we lump people together all the time. Whether it's the color of someone's skin, the way they talk, or their occupation, we tend to categorize people by outward appearances. What does God see when he looks at us? He sees our heart. Unfortunately, we can't change our own hearts. No matter how hard we try we can't cleanse our hearts from all the evil things it desires. Only God can. But before He can operate you need to admit that you need heart surgery. Once you do, God will do the rest.
